But I know it feels that way. I can remember ugly arguments with prior partners. Feeling so disconnected from them. Wondering if I should get out of the relationship. Breaking up and being broken up with. Feeling devastated. Eventually getting back out there and going on dates that didn\u2019t feel like they led anywhere. Or feeling like the person I was dating wasn\u2019t as \u201cinto it\u201d as I was. Then getting on the apps, with perhaps as much hope as desperation. Sure, I finally got into a few relationships but ultimately kept striking out on dating for about 14 years. And admittedly, some of it was stuff on my side of the fence that I needed to work on.<\/p><p>So I started my own therapy. Then I got a Master\u2019s degree in Counseling. I started a private practice as a Relationship Coach and eventually became a licensed Therapist. Two years later I met the woman who is now my wife and we\u2019ve been together for more than a decade. And it&#8217;s not perfect. There are plenty of moments we argue, get disconnected, and feel isolated from one another. journey to becoming a Relationship Therapist started as a Coach in 2003. Much of the journey began with my own ups and downs in relationships and eventually led me to launch my San Francisco Relationship Coaching &amp; Psychotherapy private practice in 2010. I completed my Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) License in 2013 and primarily work with individuals using Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness.<\/p><p>I hold a Master\u2019s degree in Counseling, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Sociology and Philosophy.
